The VIX is considered a reflection of investor sentiment and has in the past been a leading indicator of a dip in the S&P 500, but that relationship may have changed in recent times.
VIX tăng = increase implied volatility = sợ hãi nhiều hơn
Hiện giờ VIX đang ở mức 75, cao hơn rất nhiều so với mức 10 hồi giữa tháng 2. “The day to day volatility is a sign that investors don’t know what to do”. VIX đạt đỉnh 79.13 tại thời điểm 2008 khi có financial crisis.
